Lore & Background
The story follows May Suen Suk-Mui (Kristal Tin), an absent-minded and unambitious woman who is hired as a receptionist at GSZ Architects Limited after office manager Gin Keung Yung (Nancy Wu) defends her. Gin has long loved architect Michael Mai Hoi-long (Moses Chan) but he remains oblivious. On her first day, May is fired after being blamed for Michael losing a design award. That night, while returning Gin's accidentally swapped handbag, Gin is electrocuted to death by May's counterfeit cellphone. One year later, May recharges the same phone and Gin's spirit emerges, visible only to May. Gin uses May to return to the office and stay close to Michael, helping May secure a job as office manager. Gin can enter May's body, leading to physical contact with Michael and growing feelings between May and Michael. Gin eventually turns against May, but after Michael's near-death accident, Gin helps save him and disappears. Five years later, Michael and May are married with a daughter, who is revealed to be Gin's reincarnation.
Reader's Guide

The drama's Chinese title carries a double meaning: literally 'Ghost to Overtime With You' and, using slang, 'Who The Hell Wants to Overtime With You.' The series features a complex plot involving office politics, illegal blueprint theft, and a ghostly protagonist who helps her rival find love. Its significance lies in its popularity as a TVB production and its unique take on the afterlife and reincarnation, culminating in the revelation that the couple's daughter is the reincarnation of the ghost.
