Belan Wali Bahu

Belan Wali Bahu is a fantasy comedy series from India that aired on Colors TV between January 15 and June 22, 2018. The story follows Roopa Awasthi, a kind but accident-prone housewife who is always trying to please those around her. She ends up killing her husband, Amarnath Awasthi, by hitting him with a rolling pin. After his death, Amarnath returns as a ghost, and together the pair help their family navigate various problems. The series highlights how the contributions of an ordinary housewife are often overlooked in Indian households.

The main cast includes Krystle D'Souza as Roopa, and Dheeraj Sarna as her deceased husband Amarnath. Supporting roles are played by Sudhir Pandey as the grandfather Rajnath, Mushtaq Khan and Bhavana Balsavar as the parents Premnath and Premlata, Sikandar Kharbanda as brother Jeetendranath, Sunayana Fozdar as his wife Shalini, Khushboo Shroff as sister Dolly, Krunal Pandit as her husband Jimmy, Parijat Atreja as youngest brother Narendranath, Shraddha Jaiswal as the nurse Suzie, and Manishaa Purohit as neighbor Katori. Special appearances include Manish Goplani as a thief named Lallan, Rajesh Kumar as a ghost named Mahesh, Paresh Ganatra as a dancer named Bobby, Meena Naithani as a maid named Kamini, and actors from the show Dil Se Dil Tak—Rohan Gandotra, Rashami Desai, and Jasmin Bhasin—appearing on March 16, 2018.
