Lore & Background
The series follows Florinda Arguelles, played by Maricel Soriano, who is asked by her fiancé Ramil Gonzales to help restore his ancestral home. During a site visit, Florinda relives painful memories, as Ramil's mother Doña Cristina had disapproved of their relationship. Despite the mother's death, her ghost continues to express displeasure. On their wedding day, Ramil fails to appear, and Florinda begins searching for him while experiencing paranormal events. She eventually learns that a vengeful spirit resides in the house. The housemaid Criselda, who loved Ramil, plots to kill Florinda, but the ghost of Doña Cristina intervenes. In the end, Criselda is sent to a mental prison, and Florinda refuses Ramil's marriage offer. She later discovers that the boy Caloy, who helped her, is a ghost, and they live happily ever after.
